I would definitely recommend Phyla to certain acne patients. Ones that would like to use something more “natural” than medicinal.

My experience thus far with patients is that the formulations are nice and no side effects such as irritation.

I was able to start using them over the past couple weeks and I have really enjoyed using each product. The cleanser foams nicely without overly drying. The serum packaging is great and very clear about the phage technology. I also like the gel texture of it, not heavy at all. The moisturizer bottle pump is a nice touch and the moisturizer didn’t irritate my skin!

I gave it to a friend who has acne prone skin. She told me last night she has not had a breakout since using. It's also a really nice option for pregnant patients.

I have been loving everything! The cleanser is amazing, the serum feels great, and the moisturizer is SUPER hydrating. I’ve always used benzoyl peroxide to keep my acne at bay but the acne serum has been working JUST as well, honestly! I’ve been mentioning the serum to clients as a more gentler alternative to BPO!

I have shared the samples provided with patients who have really enjoyed it and have given excellent feedback. In particular, I’ve had a handful of acne patients who have completed oral isotretinoin and were given samples of the gel cleanser, serum, and moisturizer to start after completing their isotretinoin treatment. I tried Phyla with a patient who could not tolerate Accutane due to side effects and was having large cystic flares with certain foods. She felt that it really helped to prevent the large flares she was getting, and was getting the flares less frequently than prior. I would recommend it again!

I’ve found the 3-Step Acne System to be quite effective. I’ve noticed a good amount of improvement in treating current lesions and preventing further breakouts with this regimen. I would absolutely recommend Phyla to acne patients. A patient population I would consider is those with mild to moderate acne and those who have had some irritation or issues with adherence to retinoids. I would also think of a patient who wanted to start with over the counter products. Additionally, I can see this as an adjunctive to those on topical retinoids.

IMy patients who use Phyla love it. It’s very easy to use, very easy to integrate into a skincare regimen. It can be easily plugged in either with the existing cleanser and moisturizer provided by Phyla or their favorite cleanser or moisturizer. It’s really nice with Phyla; it’s simple.
