How long will it take to see results with Phyla?
While some customers experience relief quickly, we recommend incorporating Phyla into your long-term skincare routine for the best results. True skin transformation happens at the cellular level, which typically becomes visible after 1-3 months of consistent use. Skin cells have a natural turnover cycle of about 28 days, and two months allow for multiple cycles, giving Phyla’s active ingredients time to penetrate deeply and work effectively. Acne is a persistent condition, and seeing real change takes patience. For optimal results, use the Phyla system twice daily to support a balanced microbiome and reduce the risk of future breakouts.
I have severe acne. What can I expect within the first few weeks of using Phyla?
If you have chronic or severe acne, your microbiome may take a bit longer to rebalance. In these cases, we advise using the full Acne Phage System consistently, twice daily, for at least two months. It’s possible that your acne may temporarily worsen as your skin adjusts, but rest assured Phyla won’t cause the dryness, redness, or irritation often seen with traditional acne treatments.
Can I use other skincare products with Phyla?
We understand that skincare is a personal journey, and it’s natural to want to stick with products that work for you. To get the best results with Phyla, however, we suggest using the system exclusively. This reduces ingredient overload on your skin and allows our phages to work more effectively, helping to rebalance your microbiome and keep breakouts in check.
Are Phyla's products vegan and cruelty-free?
Absolutely! All Phyla products are certified vegan and cruelty-free by the Leaping Bunny Program and PETA’s Beauty Without Bunnies Program. Our lab facilities are also completely free of animal-derived components.
Is Phyla gluten-free and nut-free?
Yes, all of our products are 100% gluten-free and nut-free.
Does Phyla contain alcohol, sulfates, parabens, or phthalates?
No, Phyla products are formulated without alcohol, sulfates, parabens, or phthalates.
Shipping & Returns

Where does Phyla ship?
Phyla ships to all 50 states in the U.S. and internationally. Please note that delivery times to Hawaii, Alaska, and Canada may be longer. In addition, please check if your country is included in our ship to country list located below.
When will I receive my order?
Orders are processed within 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays). Shipping times vary:
- Free Shipping: 3-7 days
- Express Shipping: 1-3 days
- International Shipping with Passport: 1-3 weeks
What if my products arrived frozen or hot?
Frozen products are safe to use; simply thaw them in the refrigerator overnight. If products arrive hot, they are still stable but should be stored as recommended.
What is your return policy for first-time purchases?

Can I adjust my renewal date or subscription products?
If you log into your Phyla account, scroll down to the box containing “Next Order”. From here you can place your next order, skip an order, reschedule, or delay.
What if I don’t use up all my products in 60 days?
You can contact us to adjust your subscription frequency to match your usage. This can also be adjusted in your Phyla portal in the section labeled “Subscription Plan”
